Allegation of misconduct: The Journal has a clear policy for handling allegations; however they are brought to the journal's or publisher’s attention. The Journal will take seriously allegations of misconduct pre-publication and post-publication. For example, plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplication and other forms of scientific dishonesty will be treated strictly by retracting the paper at any stage (pre- and post-publication).
Authorship and contribution: Clear policies (that allow for transparency around who contributed to the work and in what capacity) should be in place for requirements for authorship and contributorship as well as processes for managing potential disputes
Complaints and appeals: any complaints that arise will be handled by the Editor-in-Chief or one of the associate editors. Immediate action/reply will be addressed in less than 48 hours.
Conflicts of interests: any forms of financial or disputes of authors, reviewers, and editors must be clearly stated before submission.
Animal Ethics and Welfare: The involvement of animals or humans in research must be done through Authors’ institutional approval and this must be clearly indicated in the methodology section.
